Welcome to Grossesse‑Secours

Grossesse-Secours' mission is to offer anyone affected by a planned or unplanned pregnancy a listening ear, support, information and referrals, while fully respecting their reality, personal choices and values to ensure their present and future experiences are as fulfilling as possible.

Grossesse-Secours offers a helpline and chat service, in-person meetings, free urine pregnancy tests, workshops and a sex education booth for schools and community groups, a contraceptive prescription service, and much more.

Grossesse-Secours was founded by women who wanted to help women for whom pregnancy isn’t always good news.

Hiring of a coordinator to supervise the listening service provided exclusively by a team of volunteers.

Awareness-raising visits to schools on preventing teenage pregnancy.

Creation of the clothing counter.

Opening of the daycare centre for children aged six months and over.

Acquisition of the triplex on Beaubien Street in Montreal.

Opening of an lodging service for young mothers.

“5 à 7” workshops for teenagers begin at Grossesse-Secours.

Conversion of the part-time daycare centre into a full-fledged daycare centre.

Closing of the daycare centre

Creation of a community thrift shop (formerly the clothing counter).
